Overview
VIETNAM
Bordering China, Laos, and Cambodia, and stretching along the South China Sea, Vietnam is home to over 100 million people and a variety of ethnic groups. Despite its rapid growth, many rural communities still face hardship—particularly in the northern highlands, where access to education and resources is limited. Our volunteering projects focus on wildlife conservation, eco-farming and youth development in these areas - we aim to make a big impact in disadvantaged communities. Based around Sa Pa and the Yen Bai province in the north of the country, these programmes support the protection of endangered wildlife, the implementation of sustainable farming practices and provide opportunities for local children through English education and sports coaching.

Ninh Binh
Take a sampan boat trip through Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Glide along emerald waterways, float through limestone caves, and take in the spectacular scenery of lush karst formations rising from the water.
Ha Giang loop
Go on a journey onboard an open-air jeep through the breath-taking Ha Giang loop. Marvel at the iconic Twin Mountains, rising symmetrically from a sea of rice terraces, and gaze out over one of the most scenic vistas in the region.
Animal rescue centre
Join our wildlife rescue centre in Sa Pa, where volunteers support the care and rehabilitation of animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade.
Village Outreach
Our Yen Bai experience combines hands-on involvement in education and sports, sustainable farming, and small-scale infrastructure projects. Your time, energy, and fundraising efforts directly support long-term improvements in the community.

LET’S GET STARTED
Found a programme that you are interested in?! The next step is to speak with one of our Travelteer Guru’s - click ‘Start Your Adventure’ at the bottom of the page and our team will contact you to book in a call. Here we will talk through exactly what you will be doing and how you can get involved! We will also fill out a small application form and get you approved.
REGISTER
Once you have been approved and our team have created your ultimate trip, it's time to get things pencilled in! Click ‘register’ and pay the registration fee to confirm your place. We will send out your volunteer pack so you can begin fundraising and start preparing. You also get access to your Travelteer dashboard so managing your upcoming trip becomes stress free!
FUNDRAISING & PRE-DEPARTURE
Once registered you will be able to use your Travelteer dashboard to manage all elements of your upcoming adventure! Now you can focus on what’s important, fundraising and what to pack! We will always help you find the best flights! Two weeks before arrival, we will put you in contact with other travellers allowing you to get to know each other before you arrive.
